- Ottawa Valley Lactation Consultants (OVLC) will promote, support, and protect breastfeeding in the community by maintaining and increasing individual knowledge and skills through a professional, collegial, and supportive relationship with each other.
- OVLC supports the WHO Code on the marketing of breastmilk substitutes, and has requested that all exhibitors at their conferences comply with the Code.
- OVLC members are also members of CLCA-ACCL, ILCA, WABA, BCC and OBC.
- OVLC members are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants and are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE).
